Patrick’s extensive dealership operations experience was gained on-the-floor at some of Victoria’s largest and most dynamic dealerships culminating in his appointment to the Sales Managers role with Pitstop Toyota – then Australia’s most successful Toyota Dealership.

In 1995, Patrick started Salesfest Advertising and Marketing specialising in staging main event sales. Within a few short months the business had expanded to include marketing, advertising and media buying services.

Today, Salefest is Australia’s premier retail automotive agency with offices in Melbourne and Brisbane servicing OEMs, Dealer Marketing Groups and independent dealerships in Victoria, NSW, Queensland and South Australia.

In addition to managing Salefest, Patrick is also an entrepreneur, keynote speaker and global ambassador for the Australian Automotive Dealer Association.

David joined Patrick Tessier in establishing Salefest after gaining extensive media experience with the Melbourne Herald-Sun – the highest circulating daily newspaper in Australia.

Amongst other achievements, he was heavily involved in the launch of the Herald-Sun’s Cars Guide which has become a successful product nationally for News Limited.

David’s skill set includes sales, sales management, media planning, media negotiation, concept development in addition to initiating effective letterbox and direct mail strategies.

He established Salefest Queensland in 2001 with one client which has now grown to over 20.

Cameron joined Salefest in July 2010 with a history of advertising and marketing in commercial, retail and industrial property.

Cameron is known for developing innovative marketing programs, and below-the-line campaigns to increase volume sales. Well versed in the businesses of both volume and prestige vehicle dealership operations, his key skills are best utilised in larger campaigns for dealer groups and brands.

Charles’s extensive automotive experience was gained on global brands including GM Holden, Ford, Isuzu Trucks, Ford Trucks, HRAP and Hyundai, as well as the Melbourne Holden Dealer Association (MHDA), Victorian Volvo Dealers, Honda Dealers nationally and Mercedes-Benz of Melbourne.

Formerly a Creative Group Head at McCann-Erickson Melbourne, Charles is credited with creating some of the industries most memorable automotive campaigns including ‘Beep Barina’, ‘It’s a Gem, Gem Gemini’ and ‘They’re all in the Holden Family.’

Prior to McCanns, Charles was at DDB where he developed creative for the launch of the Ford Falcon, Ford Maverick 4WD, Ford TX3 Turbo and retail promotions for Ford Dealers Australia Fund (FDAF).

Charles’s advertising experience also covers real estate, telecommunications, electronics, home building, RAAF Recruitment, video games and general retail.

Elli’s strict work ethic, adherence to deadlines and detail has made her an invaluable asset for Salefest Advertising.

Elli’s experience includes working for automotive dealerships as a Marketing Manager and also the Leader Newspapers Group in a production capacity.

Her responsibilities include supervising the production team, copywriters, proof readers, all the while ensuring that all forms of advertising are compliant with ACCC guidelines.

Michael Vella

Financial Controller

Michael Vella is the Group Financial Controller. With 6 years public practice experience he has been part Salefest team for over a year.

Michael is a qualified Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and has brought to Salefest financial skills and knowledge including taxations, reporting and budgeting, he has more than one would expect of the stereotypical accountant.

He is Involved in many of our research and development projects of Salefest marketing products and services including experience with information technology systems, e-commerce and strategic management. He is keen on leading change and improvement of service to our clients.
